Gîte Braunis – General and Special Rental Conditions:



    Article-1 Contract:
    This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the exclusive use of a furnished tourist accommodation.

    Article-2 Length of stay:
    The tenant who signs this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances circumstances be able to take advantage of any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

    Article-3 Conclusion of the contract:
    In order to validate your reservation you must return the requested documents to the lessor.
    The reservation becomes effective as soon as the lessor returns a copy of the lease to you, countersigned.
    The lease concluded between the parties may not under any circumstances benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons or legal entities, except with the agreement of the lessor.
    Any breach of the latter paragraph would be liable to the immediate termination of the rental, the proceeds of the rental shall be definitively acquired by the lessor.

    Article-4 Cancellation by the tenant:
    Any cancellation must be notified to the lessor by registered letter or e-mail.

    a) Cancellation before arrival:
    The deposit remains the property of the lessor. However, this sum may be returned to the tenant if the gîte is rented out again under the same conditions.
    If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the following the date of arrival indicated on the contract, the present contract becomes null and void and the hirer may dispose of his gite.
    The price of the rental remains definitively with the lessor.

    b) If the stay is shortened:
    The price of the rental will remain with the lessor. In this case, no refund will be made..

    Article-5 Cancellation by the lessor:
    The lessor shall pay the lessee the full amount paid, as well as an indemnity at least equal to that which the hirer would have would have paid if the cancellation had occurred cancellation had occurred on that date.

    Article-6 Arrival:
    The hirer must arrive on the day specified and at the time mentioned on this contract.
    In case of late or delayed arrival the hirer must inform the lessor.

    Article-7 Payment of the balance:
    The balance of the rental is paid at the latest one month before the date of entry into the premises

    Article-8 Tobacco :
    For the benefit of successive tenants the gîte is non-smoking.
    However, you can indulge your passion outside the premises. (the possible collection of cigarette butts remains at your charge).

    Article-9 Animals:
    Our friends the animals are not allowed.

    Article-10 State of play :
    An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by by the tenant and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure of the gîte.
    The state of cleanliness of the gite on the arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory of fixtures.

    Article-11 Cleaning of premises:
    The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period.
    As an option, you can benefit from the cleaning package at the end of your stay.
    Any breach of Article 8 will automatically result in the cleaning of of duvets, curtains, double curtains, etc..
    An invoice will then be produced to justify the expenditure.

    Article-12 Guarantee deposit:
    On the arrival of the tenant, a deposit the amount of which is indicated in the contract is requested by the lessor.
    This deposit is returned within 10 days after the contradictory establishment of the inventory of fixtures on departure, after deduction of the cost of repairing the premises if any damage is found.

    Article-13 Use of the premises:
    The Tenant shall ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises.

    Article-14 Capacity:
    The present contract is established for a maximum capacity of 8 persons.
    If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity of the property the landlord may refuse to accept additional guests.
    Any modification or termination of the contract will therefore be considered to be at the client's initiative.

    Article-15 Insurance :
    The hirer is responsible for all damage caused by him/her.
    He is required to be insured by a holiday insurance policy for these various risks.
